Fantastic location for exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railways and the University of Oxford. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely patio to relax on. Free WiFi was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The highlight of our visit was the hilarious experience of trying to park outside the cottage. It felt like a real-life game of "musical chairs" with cars! We were entertained by the comical sight of fellow guests circling like vultures waiting for a spot to open up. Definitely made for some memorable moments!

For me, the only downside was having only one bathroom. But hey, some people might not mind it at all!

However, the quaint and cosy atmosphere adds charm to the well-equipped kitchen, which includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher. Guests are greeted with a homemade cake and supplied with ample tea, coffee, and cleaning items. The secure back garden is perfect for dog owners.

The cottage lacks communication channels for guests to reach the staff, as evidenced by the non-existent telephone number provided in the confirmation book.

The cottage also had a footpath right opposite it, which took us on an amazing walk through open fields and stunning countryside, much to the delight of our dog. The cottage provided everything we needed, including treats for our furry friend. The garden was lovely and secure, and the communication with the host was quick and helpful. It was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds.

wishbone cottage in the cotswolds was even better than my previous stay in fairford. the pillows were so comfy, and the back garden was a peaceful and relaxing spot. the location was perfect for visiting the fresh air sculpture exhibition.

Road noise was a bit annoying.

I keep coming back to this charming cottage because the staff helped me find a currency exchange, it has Wi-Fi, off-site car park, cookware, and allows pets. No regrets, the perfect place for a romantic escape.

What a great Easter break we had! The cottage was absolutely adorable and the village it was located in was just lovely. We really enjoyed the fenced garden, especially because we were able to bring our dogs along with us. Another great feature was the rural walks that started right from our doorstep. It was so convenient to explore the beautiful countryside. it was a fantastic place to stay!

While we had a wonderful time at the cottage, there were a few issues that were a bit disappointing. First, there was a musty smell in the living room that persisted throughout our stay, despite leaving the back door open.

The road it's on can get a bit noisy. Leaking tap, unreachable staff, and impossible to find a toaster that works.
